TERE BIN LADEN has been in the buzz for its funny promos and its portrayal of Osama Bin Laden. And now, the film has found a new admirer in the form of filmmaker Karan Johar.
Karan Johar tweeted on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, "Just saw TERE BIN LADEN...wonderfully satirical...some fall down funny moments and great ensemble performances..@AliZafarforu is superb!!!"
The film is about an ambitious young news reporter from Pakistan (Ali Zafar) who is desperate to migrate to the US in pursuit of the American dream. His repeated attempts to immigrate are shot down as his visa is always rejected. But when things couldn't look worse he comes across an Osama Bin Laden look alike. What ensues forms the crux of this hilarious film.

Devastation struck AR Rahman’s ‘Jai Ho - The Journey Home World Tour’in Detroit last week as the stage collapsed during rehearsals, rendering the set unusable. The infrastructure at the Motor City’s Pontiac Silverdome buckled beneath the weight of the lighting rig and the apparatus came crashing down, destroying both stage and set. Miraculously, all members of the crew escaped unharmed.
With the extravagant and spectacular set requiring a full rebuild, the remainder of the North American dates which included LA, Dallas, Houston and Boston have been post-poned until further notice.

John Abraham was extremely delighted when critics raved about his extra ordinary performance as a villain in films like Dhoom and New York that went on to become a super-duper hit. It definitely boosted the confidence of the model-turned actor.
Now, as his career graph is rising, producer Ramesh Taurani of Race 2 has signed John to play the villain. John has been finalized to share screen space with Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor.
According to director Abbas-Mustan, this ensemble cast, is ‘perfectly balanced’ now.
About the heroines in the flick, Bipasha Basu will not be a part of the sequel. Actresses like Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif are among the top names which are being considered.
Race 2 will go on floors in 2011.

After Akon for Shah Rukh Khan's Ra.One, it is now the Latin American sensation Shakira's turn to rock in a Bollywood song. She will sing for a film featuring entrepreneur Sachin Joshi, the key sponsor of Kolkata Knight Riders Indian Premier League team.
To be composed by Salim Sulaiman, the number, a frenzied dance track to be filmed on South African model Candice Boucher, will be recorded in the next couple of months. "It will be a very sensuous cabaret kind of song," said Salim.

Aficionados of the action-adventureDhoom franchise can fasten their seat belts as the much-awaited third instalment of the series is being scripted.
"Dhoom 3 is being scripted right now... I met Uday (Chopra) yesterday (for the same). It's a franchise and obviously after the success of Dhoom and Dhoom 2, we want the next one to do better (hence the wait)," Abhishek said.
He and Uday are tipped to reprise their roles in the slick cop and thief chase thriller produced by Yash Raj Films (YRF).
Abhishek Bachchan has already confirmed that the much-awaited third instalment of the ‘Dhoom’ series is on its way, the latest news has it that the flick is most likely to have heartthrob Hrithik Roshan in one of the lead roles.According to the latest buzz, Hrithik is gearing up to do a lot many sequels in the near future, and Yash Raj Films’ ‘Dhoom’ is surely one of them.
While John Abraham starred in the negative role in the first outing that released in 2004, the second one that came out in 2006 was a phenomenal success, courtesy the presence of Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai. Both instalments were directed by Sanjay Gadhvi.
The third outing is also expected to be helmed by Gadhvi and is reportedly slated for a 2012 release...

The South Indian Film Chambers had declared that it would ignore films by all stars who have gone to Colombo for IIFA. However considering big stars like Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan are there it remains to be seen how many films would be banned in the South.
