Guys - did you see the excellent "three bee" dancers on BGT the other day. They got through, and hopefully will now be in the semis. Talk about an awesome way to showcase our culture and community in this country. Hopefully we can all rally around them if they get through to the semis and maybe they will make it to the finals!!

Shiamak Davar, the Guru of Modern Contemporary Dance in India, is all set to cast his magic spell across Europe as he takes on the role of Creative Consultant and Choreographer for Indian Dances for premier show India - The Incredible Spectacle of Maharajas. Shiamak Davar announced the launch of the show at a royal press conference held at Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur in the presence of His Highness Maharaja Sahib of Marwar-Jodhpur.
18 members of The Shiamak Davar Dance Company have also been chosen perform in the show which will have a total of 70 artists. The event, will premier on 17th December in Frankfurt and will travel extensively across Europe for an entire year.
''It is an absolute honour to be associated with an event of this magnitude. In my opinion dance is perhaps one of the best ways to portray the richness and the diversity of Indian culture and I will strive to do just that with the pieces that I choreograph'', says dance magnate, Shiamak Davar.

Any type of dancers are welcome to apply as long as you can convince the panel that your dancing has been influenced by the legend himself. Whether you are a line dancer with a bit of showmanship, a break dancer who can moonwalk or you have created your own dance moves in front of the mirror we want to hear from you.
