John plays the role of Sid, a shy, stammering nerd working at a bookstore in London. But how a timid, introvert like him has bouts of evil cunning to deceive and manipulate is beyond logic. It’s almost a multiple personality disorder (unintentionally) drawn into his character. One minute, he’s being a male bimbo with friends, the very next he’s hatching a scheme to two-time with his girl friend.
